Knows as Papal City, due to its past as Papal See in the 13th century, Viterbo has a beautiful historic centre surrounded by impressive medieval walls.
Its most important buildings are Papal Palace, St. Lorenz Cathedral, St. Pellegrino neighborhood, St. Maria Nuova's Church and the ancient Church of St. Silvestro. Our Hotel is in the Thermal area of Viterbo, where there are copious remarkable traces of Etruscan settlements and our Bullicame's natural park. The most characteristic event of the city is the Macchina di Santa Rosa's transport, which takes place every 3th of September. The machine is an incredible lightened structure of 30 metres height, similar to a bell tower, carried on back by our" facchini" through our historic centre, honoring the patron Saint of the City.

Our Hotel is deeply-rooted to our territory, to which it contributes not only guaranting to our guests the best hospitality possible, but also organizing cultural events of absolute importance: concerts of the best international jazz music, photo exhibitions, enogastronomic events, conventions, philosophy, art and literature conferences and seminaries.

Civita di Bagnoregio stands out from the extraordinary view of Calanchi and it is an ancient burg which rises up on a spur of tuff rock subject to many phenomenons of crumbling and landslides. So many parts of the city were devoured from this implacable erosion that Civita di Bagnoregio is now called
" The Dying city". What is left is a breathtaking sight which attracts tourists from every part of the world.
